My New 2015 P52 ~ January

I think one of my favorite “photography” things to do is completing a 52-week project. I would love to be able to do a 365 (a photo a day for a year), but I find the thought of that completely overwhelming—so I like to do this, instead. At the end of the year, I have a collection of images that show our year at a glance, and looking at them all just makes me happy! I’ve done several of these and am excited to be starting a new one. And even better? Emily is doing it along with me this year! I am not sure how much time she will have to edit hers along with me (let alone blog hers), but still I am so thrilled that she will be documenting this year in her life.

And this year, I thought I would blog the images, too. I’m hoping that will keep me accountable!

Week 1 ~ Ever since my sister brought me an adorable little bouquet of flowers from Whole Foods after my first knee surgery in October, I have been addicted to these little Mason jar posies. I just love them:

Week 2 ~ Not a super exciting image, but I am absolutely over the moon that Emily is joining me this year in a P52, so I had to document it:

Week 3 ~ Just an iPhone pic, but if I’d gotten up to get my big-girl camera, they’d surely have moved. We are having such a hard time getting the other two cats to accept Phi, but our eldest, Cosby, is perfectly content (I daresay even GLAD!) to have him as a part of our family! Now if only he’d discuss his findings with the other two…:

Week 4 ~ But still, my favorite is when Phi snuggles with me…:
