It’s February 2, which means that it’s time for my monthly blog circle post! (I am so thrilled that the “Way I View” group decided to stick together for another year–these women never cease to amaze and inspire me!) Our theme for February was close-up portraiture. This one isn’t a stretch for me as I tend to find myself scooting in closer and closer with every shoot we do, because her little face just naturally pulls me in and I always find myself wanting to really capture her eyes. So as is typical for me, I started out wide-ish (I was actually shooting with the intent of capturing the gorgeous little wire-crochet beaded hairpiece we found at an art and wine festival), but after I while I found myself going in-in-in, until all that was left was her sweet little face!
Next in our little circle is the gorgeous work of my friend Anne Wick with her close-up portraiture! I just love how she captures her two littles, and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with this month!
