The Way I View “Playtime”

When considering what I wanted to do with this month’s theme, it occurred to me that “playtime” is a perfect example of how our life is evolving as our daughter gets older! Playtime in our life used to mean dress-up, Pretty Pretty Princess, and afternoons at the park, and I struggled to come up with a way to show how it exists for us now. But I realized we still do play; it has just changed along with the evolution of our little family. Now for fun we do our nails (well, some of us do), watch TV together, and play games. So for this post, I documented a Saturday afternoon board game!

(And I just feel I should add: Tom won… ;-P )

I am sad that Emily is growing up so quickly, but at the same time, I feel tremendously blessed because at home playing with my family is still pretty much my favorite place in the world to be, and I can’t wait to see what comes next for us!

Please continue on in our little circle to see how the super talented Sarah Cambio views “Playtime”!
