Celebrating Seuss!

I’m taking a photography workshop, and my last assignment was to make a storyboard of a particular stanza from a Dr. Seuss book. We shopped and we shopped for all the right stuff, and then came home and gave it a whirl. We might have gone a tad more on the literal side than was intended, but we had a ball with it! We had planned to do more full-length stuff with the umbrella and the fishbowl, but poor Emily had too much stuff to balance and everything tumbled, shattering the fishbowl before we managed to get anything great (but she was safe, which is what REALLY mattered!)… After that we shelved the “balance lots of stuff” portion of our afternoon and went more for close-up shots where she wouldn’t have as much to juggle.  The outtakes were hilarious, but they are technically AWFUL, plus I promised her I wouldn’t show them publicly, so you’ll just have to take my word for it ;-P!
