One of my favorite parts of my garden…

These bushes have been in my backyard since before we moved in nearly 15 years ago, and they are just thriving! They are deciduous, so they look like ugly sticks in the wintertime, but they make me fall in love with them all over again every spring when they bloom profusely with these delicate, sweet-smelling flowers. The bushes are twice as tall as I am and are completely covered with blossoms. I just love them!

ETA: My mom ID’d them for me; they are one variety of Deutzia!

You can download an app for your iPhone that will give you a definition of anything you photograph! A friend of mine told me about this, so I can’t say I’ve tried it, but she has done this with plants.ReplyCancel
